Abstract

|
SSSS, developed in a 2-week-old male baby is reported with a review of the literature.
The patient was admitted in the early stage of the disease with clinical symptoms and signs of neonatal sepsis. He was started on methicillin from 2nd hospital day which apparently could not prevent the development of generalized desquamation.
He was discharged after 2 week of therapy with normal skin.
